Before You Hit the Track

We've answered the most common questions to help you prepare for Run the Circuit and make the most of your Silverstone experience.

Run the Circuit is free to FORMULA 1 PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026 ticket holders camping at Silverstone from Wednesday 1 July or Thursday 2 July to Sunday 5 July.

Registration is open to individuals aged 18 or over who hold a valid FORMULA 1 PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026 Thursday ticket and are staying in Abbey Meadows or Woodcote Fields campsites. Eligibility will be validated before participation is confirmed.

You’ll be completing a 5.89km lap of the iconic Silverstone circuit while getting a unique driver's-eye view of the tarmac before the weekend's action officially kicks off.

Participant safety is our top priority, and we ask that you only take part if you are feeling completely fit and well enough to complete the entire course. Run the Circuit participants are unable to complete a shorter circuit of the track; however, should you feel unwell or be unable to finish, you can stop at any time and alert a staff member who will safely escort you off the track. The full 5.89km distance must be completed unless you are cleared from the track due to event time restrictions. Please review our full health, safety, and fitness guidelines in the event T&Cs.

Yes. To ensure the track is cleared, primed, and perfectly prepared for motorsport's elite drivers, we ask that all runners complete the circuit in 45 minutes, as the track must be cleared by 7:30am. Don't worry, this leaves plenty of time to soak up the electric community atmosphere and enjoy the live Grand Prix commentary voices along the way! Yes! We will have official photographers and videographers capturing the energy of the event. Official photos: We will share a link to the official event gallery in our post-event email, so you can look out for your action shots and share them on social media. Your own photos: We absolutely encourage you to take your own photos and videos throughout the day. Don't forget to tag us @gatorade_uk when you post them! Please note: By attending the event, you may be captured in our official event media for future promotional use.

If your entry is successful, your ticket will be issued directly by Silverstone and added to your Silverstone ticket account. You will only be confirmed as a participant once you receive this ticket. You will receive your ticket by 23:59 on the 30th of June (end of day).

If successful, your event ticket will be issued to the Silverstone ticket account associated with the original booking (lead booker account). All other event communications including ticket confirmation will be sent by Gatorade to your personal email address. If you do not receive a ticket by 23:59 on 30th of June, your entry has not been successful.

We will not be mailing bibs out before the event. Instead, you will be handed your bib as you enter the circuit. Just show your e-ticket issued by Silverstone, grab your bib from the registration table, and you're good to go!

To give you this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, we have to clear the track and hand the tarmac back to the FIA, marshals, and F1® teams so they can prepare Silverstone for the world’s fastest drivers to take to the grid. It’s an early start, but securing the ultimate Grand Prix bragging rights is well worth the alarm clock.

While we’d love to hang out in the F1® paddock, Run the Circuit does not alter or upgrade your original event ticket conditions. All participants must be cleared from the track by 8:00am so officials can prepare the circuit for the weekend's sessions. You can re-enter Silverstone within the conditions of your FORMULA 1® PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026 tickets. Not at all. Whether you are aiming for a personal best or just want to experience jogging the legendary tarmac, Run the Circuit is built for everyday athletes. Gatorade is all about celebrating the inner drive and ambition to improve at every level and the enjoyment that comes with this. While our roster of elite talent, including F1® drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, and F1 ACADEMY™ driver Lisa Billard, will be deep in their pre-race preparation and training rituals, you’ll be running the exact same track they are preparing to conquer. Plus, you’ll hear your run called live by the iconic broadcast voices who cover the FORMULA 1® PIRELLI BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2026!

Complete access and entry instructions for Run the Circuit will be sent to the lead booker ahead of the event.

For this event, the Lead Booker’s email is the email of the specific person who made the original campsite reservation with Silverstone for either Abbey Meadows or Woodcote Fields. Because Run the Circuit is strictly exclusive to these campers, you must register using the exact email address used for that original campsite booking. Silverstone will cross-reference this email against their database to validate your eligibility; if the emails do not match, your entry cannot be verified and will be disqualified.

No. Registration is an expression of interest only. Places are limited and allocated based on availability and eligibility. If successful, you will receive a ticket in your Silverstone account and email confirmation of ticket from Gatorade. If you do not receive a ticket by this time, your entry has not been successful.
