ARSENAL FC

Arsenal is one of the leading clubs in world football with a strong heritage of success, progressive thinking and financial stability.

In 1886 the club was founded by 15 workers at the Royal Arsenal Armaments Factory in Woolwich, London. The team initially called itself Dial Square after the workshops at the centre of the factory.

Royal Arsenal soon replaced Dial Square before a more permanent name change to Woolwich Arsenal came into effect in 1893. Woolwich was dropped following the move to Highbury in 1913/14.

Arsenal has an impressive roll of honour: League Champions 13 times, 13 domestic cups and 2 European titles. In addition, Arsenal Ladies are the most successful English club in women's football.

The Invincibles team in 2003/04 went 49 matches unbeaten in the Premier League to set a new record. Arsenal moved to Emirates in 2006, kicking off a new legacy.

Gatorade is the Official Sports Drink and Sports Nutrition partner of Arsenal Football Club.
